Hello DJ,
personally I would like to see something like the first line in this
postings for your replies -- that would make it easier for me to follow
the discussion when I had missed something. That may be not needed when
you answer to simple questions, you may argue that is makes no
difference who asked the question. But I have seen answers from you in
the past to long complicated discussions, and I was totally lost.
The top posting with fullquote is very common in these days on many
mailing lists, often together with a duplicate of the text in HTML. And
more and more people even ask questions without giving her real names,
writing all in lover case and with lots of typing errors, even when they
write in their native language. I even got personally emails with
questions in this style! Really strange.
