Agreed, if this function/phenomenon is already useful, I vote for just
making it optional ;)
And I didn't know a Makefile could produce more reliable Gerbers, as
mentioned a couple of replies ago. Is there something inherently
unreliable about producing Gerbers straight from the GUI?
