I think it's more of a bug, but one that's hard to fix with the HID
api we have now.  What we need is CAM jobs that describe which drawing
layers become which output layers, so that things that make sense in a
PDF but don't make sense in a gerber, can be properly filtered.

What we actually have is a single "gui vs not-gui" flag that mostly
works but is very simple, so the user needs to be aware which parts of
the design are WYSIWYG and what parts are GUI-only.  Perhaps we should
change pin names to be gui-only to avoid costly problems (and yes, I
know no change will be universally liked ;)

FYI: generating gerbers in a Makefile is much more reliable anyway :-)
