--047d7b6da6acb5291104e2062990 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 I'm using an h-bridge in a design and I'm a bit confused on the footprint. It is a TO220-7 thruhole component. The top big square pad is an output pin but it appears to stand off the board. There isn't a suggested footprint in the documentation. The digikey part number is: BTN7960P-ND and the document is attached. How does pin 8 get connected to? Thanks BTN7960-47A-Half-Bridge.pdf<https://docs.google.com/file/d/0ByNkqE4yaJCVVHZJNE9vRVB3Q2c/edit?usp=drive_web> --047d7b6da6acb5291104e2062990 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr"><div><div><div>I'm using an h-bridge in a design and I= 'm a bit confused on the footprint.=A0 It is a TO220-7 thruhole compone= nt.=A0 The top big square pad is an output pin but it appears to stand off = the board.=A0 There isn't a suggested footprint in the documentation.<b= r> <br></div>The digikey part number is: BTN7960P-ND and the document is attac= hed.<br><br></div>How does pin 8 get connected to?<br><br></div>Thanks<br><= div><br><div class=3D"gmail_drive_chip" style=3D"width:396px;height:18px;ma= x-height:18px;background-color:rgb(245,245,245);padding:5px;color:rgb(34,34= ,34);font-family:arial;font-style:normal;font-weight:bold;font-size:13px;bo= rder:1px solid rgb(221,221,221)"> <a href=3D"https://docs.google.com/file/d/0ByNkqE4yaJCVVHZJNE9vRVB3Q2c/edit= ?usp=3Ddrive_web" target=3D"_blank" style=3D"display:inline-block;overflow:= hidden;white-space:nowrap;text-decoration:none;padding:1px 0pt;border:mediu= m none;width:100%"><img style=3D"vertical-align: bottom; border: medium non= e;" src=3D"https://ssl.gstatic.com/docs/doclist/images/icon_10_generic_list= .png">=A0<span dir=3D"ltr" style=3D"color:rgb(17,85,204);text-decoration:no= ne;vertical-align:bottom">BTN7960-47A-Half-Bridge.pdf</span></a></div> <br></div></div> --047d7b6da6acb5291104e2062990--
