| Subject: | [geda-user] blank search field in PCB Library dialog causes CPU grab |
| Reply-To: | geda-user AT delorie DOT com |
Hello, this is my first post so I hope it's fairly appropriate. Using pcb version 20110918 on Ubuntu 12.04, I notice that when I go to view pcb footprint libraries, clearing the search field causes the application to freeze and hog the CPU. I suspect the blank field causes a routine to go looking for a single space or a null or something, not sure. In any case I have to kill the runaway process from the terminal. I'm happy to help fix this, more as a tester than a coder at this stage. Regards, Matt
