Hello, this is maybe wrong forum for ngspice questions (but my usage is
together with gschem)
I was trying to running ngspice on my Ubuntu 12.04 (64 bit) an when
starting ngspice I get:
ngspice
******
** ngspice-20 : Circuit level simulation program
** The U. C. Berkeley CAD Group
** Copyright 1985-1994, Regents of the University of California.
** Please submit bug-reports to: ngspice-bugs AT lists DOT sourceforge DOT net
** Creation Date: Sun Mar 14 08:46:52 CET 2010
******
external error: no graphics interface; please check compiling instructions
Google did not help much, many was about building ngspice and one entry in
Ngspice-devel showed on user
having exactly the same issue but it was from 2010 and it was with
ngspice-21
Checking my installation: dpkg --list | grep ngspice
ii ngspice 23-1
Spice circuit simulator
ii ngspice-doc 23-1
Documentation for the NGs
which ngspice:
/usr/local/bin/ngspice
I will continue googling but there might someone who has the solution.
thanks for reading.
