I suspect it would be simple to implement, but I don't remember if it ties into the GUI code in a significant way. You'd have to start a the (for example) MotionNotify() callback in the GUI and see where the information goes, and/or if there are any HID calls to get XY other than the obvious one that the key bindings use.
