No. Slots only work properly if the slots are identical in function and 
differ only by pin numbers.

Order should not matter. To put it more explicit: The netlist should be 
the same no matter which order symbols are added.
(Unfortunately, it still does matter under specific circumstances. But 
this is the remnant of a long standing serious bug in gnetlist. The patch 
fixed most instances, but some corner cases remain.)

The script should not have to care. It is the job of gnetlist to make sure 
that order does not matter.
