Hello everyone.
This suite is amazing. Thanks to all who had a part in it!
I have been trying to use easyspice to get started testing my circuits, but
it always seems to grab the wrong name, take the entire filename and append
a different extension, etc. I can create a circuit in gschem and run it
through gnetlist (easy_spice crashes for me doing this, but I can handle
using the command line for this). After that, the process keeps tripping me
up in a dozen ways, and it occurs to me I'm not sure I'm really creating my
circuit correctly.
I tried the (ahem) "simple" example gTAG, but it is way too complex, and I
encountered the same problems anyway. I can't begin to understand the
circuit itself, so I can't tell where it's not working.
Could anyone just point me to a few *simple* downloadable gschem examples
that they know work correctly, or maybe even, if you use it, an easy_spice
file that works, just so I can run ONE working test on my system from start
to finish and build from there? circuitlab.com works for me immediately
with no problems, but I want to work offline. I have searched extensively,
but among the immense amount of information online on the gEDA suite, I
have not managed to find this- one simple, working, downloadable example.
I found an interesting tutorial with a supposedly working example, but no
file is provided, I am told to enter the circuit with gschem, and I'm
already not sure I'm doing that correctly.
Thank you for your help!
-Chuckk
