The trouble here is the biased, pcb-centric viewpoint of the pcb developers. gEDA is good for so much more. That's why it would be better to call the project in question pcb-skeleton-project rather than geda-skeleton-project, since it's pcb-centric. I realize that some really like pcb, and I have absolutely no objection to pcb-centric projects like this. But I object to the constant implication that only the pcb flow matters for gEDA: I believe that is very damaging. Why should gEDA only be for the subset of people who find pcb usable? > > And from "where I'm sitting" I can confidently say I have benefited and at times even made a living using the geda/PCB system. For me, gEDA yes, pcb never. John Doty Noqsi Aerospace, Ltd. http://www.noqsi.com/ jpd AT noqsi DOT com
