IHO, the core of a geda distribution should contain a mechanism, to
start projects. This is a glaring omission with the current set of
downloadable packages. I really don't care, how the set-up is done
technically. Of course, it should be customizable, fully documented and
with a decent default. Other than that, everything is ok with me.

A project at a third party download server, separated from the rest of
geda, gaf, whatever you call it, would miss a major chance.
