What I'd like is to have the ability to run the DRC on only a part
of the board, or to be able to exclude a part of the board from the
DRC. Some fab houses specify design rules in which some percentage
of the board may have tighter rules (very useful for escaping
BGA, especially at 0.8mm and tighter pitches). For example:
