I use my implementation of an old MIT Forth dialect. It's available (GPL) at: https://github.com/noqsi/LSE-ARM The build process in the makefiles uses the gnuarm toolchain and openocd. Despite the fact that in its present form it is much less efficient in its use of memory than it could be, I use it to control scientific instruments using MCU's with 32k RAM and 128k flash. The current project structure is clumsy: I need to split it into a machine-independent core, machine-dependent initialization and device drivers, and applications.
