Hi list,


The development of my home automation system reached to a point where I
started to think about some scripting implementation. This is basically a
network of sensors and actors, and a root node. The root node can
comunicate with all other nodes. I'd like to implement something on the
root node, that can read some piece of program from its flash or EEPROM and
execute it, like read this temperature sensor, read that humidity sensor,
do some math, write to that actor, which turns on a fan. So I want to do
something like this, but to be honest I don't know where to start. There
must be implementations for this, I searched the net, found a few projects,
like picoc, etc.

Any pointers about the topic would be helpfull.
