This patch is well on its way.  I *really* liked it when I tried it.
The only major work I think it really needs are:

- Fix to build on current pcb; probably needs to be updated to
  build since major pcb changes (like nanometers conversion).

- Store grids using pcb Attribute[] entities instead of a new
  syntax, to avoid breaking backward compatibility.
