makes not much sense to me. There is not really a relation of 100
geda/gschem units to 0.1 inch. That relation was mentioned somewhere in
the documentation, but I think it is nonsense. gschem's units are
arbitrary -- what matters is the relation of text size and line width
compared to symbol size and pin length. I think we should have the
possibility to scale font size and line width as we like, -- my peted
gschem clone can do that. For most legacy gschem symbols one problem is,
that line width is zero, so scaling is difficult. For this I provided
clamping in peted. I dont know why zero line width has been used, finite
width for graphics is a better choise in my opinion -- I think
Kai-Martin has used 10 for line width for his new basic symbol set,
compared to default pin length of 300 or sometimes 200.
