Oh, that's right. If you want to make it a footprint (to get solder mask clearance and ease of maintenance), you can't use a polygon since polygons unfortunately can't be part of a footprint. You'll have to stick with lines. You can make a decent approximation of a semicircle with some lines, however. Here's to wishing for a future improvement so that footprints can contain *any* element in pcb: polygons, text, etc. Regards, Colin
