My target was to do it embedded in gschem ;-).
I find it very useful (and fast) instead, specially for people that doesn't
know how to write scripts or not so skilled to use existent ones. However
it is at first approach.

Hehe... don't worry ! No one will steal your mouse ! It is only a function
that returns the position of your mouse pointer in order to place the pins
in a "snapped to grid" position as requested by gschem.
