I have installed pcb-20110918 (having enjoyed using earlier releases for many years) - the install went well (my platform is Mageia-1): pcb builds and runs nicely (after having sorted out some issues of missing required packages). But I dont dare to use this new version: "make test" (or running tests/run_tests.sh) reveals that 4 tests fail: hid_gerber1, hid_gerber2, hid_gerber3 and hid_png3. For instance, the .gbr files produced by hid_gerber1 are thin horizontal lines, rather than the thick lines with a filled circle at at their end (looking at the gerber files with gerbv). - What can I do to clarify this problem? - Is my assumption right that I could probably edit layouts, but should not use the new version of pcb for generating gerber files until I have sorted out this problem? Regards, J. Harms I had posted this to the old list (moria.seul) - sorry if this might end up in double posting
