Hello,

If i understand you correctly, you have gschem 1.8.2 without gaf.

I do not know how to change margins in gschem. But there is another way.
In gschem, select File > Print
In "Output" choose A4
In "Type" , choose "extents, no margins"
In "Destination" select file, and put filename.

This will give you a PS file. use ps2pdf to convert to PDF, then use
inkscape to edit to get the right margins.

Hope this helps.

Abhijit
