I guess it may be related to the m4 processor, it may misinterpret the
decimal digit in footprint names.
Can you try renaming that footprint so that last character in not a
decimal digit. Or can you try the --skip-m4 option to pcb2gsch if you do
not rely on m4. 

I think I have seen a mail with a similar bug long time ago, but can not
really remember.

Of course, for recent pcb program you can import your schematic direct,
without gsch2pcb. See for footprint path

And of course it may be good to tell the developers the program release
version and operating system...
