Sorry, gschem isn't running well here due to unresolved compilation problem,
though it seems that the attribute thing in the dock only shows attributes
of a marked object and not of available global attributes.

I.e. if you run gschem name.sym, and click on the pin on top, it shows
the pins' attribues is the dock. You get the same without the dock and
using menu item Object->Edit. Without any object selected the list is
empty and with multiple object selected the common values are shown as
is and attributes with different values in the objects, show the value 
as <various>.
