Hi,

it is not about showing the text in the drawing, it is about showing the
attribute in the attributes section of the gschem program.

You have on the right side of the drawing a menu with
library/object/text/attributes.

Under the attributes window you will find all attributes, even if they
are hidden. If you add a new one to a symbol, you will see it here. But
if you save the symbol and reopen it, the attribute is not longer listed
there.
