If you mean a magenta-purple, vs an indigo-purple, you probably used the
"find" function (key F) which highlights entire nets, and part of the
net it needed to highlight was not yet connected to the part you
selected.  Use F again while your cursor isn't over a trace to shut that
off.

Alternately, you used th "Find" option in the netlist dialog to
highlight a net.  Same solution though.
