Subject: | [geda-help] Installing latest(?) gEDA on Ubuntu 14.04LTS |
Reply-To: | geda-help AT delorie DOT com |
Hi all, I've just upgraded my OS, and would like to obtain the latest stable release of gEDA. I've grown used to the version that was obtainable via the repositories when Ubuntu 12.04 was first installed on my machine. Traditionally, the Ubuntu software repository is a few versions, sometimes years, behind latest releases. So please can anyone suggest the best way to download and install the latest gEDA that will not blow up? :) Kind regards, Matt.
