--089e01175f5d04a0d204f902bead Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 I created my first footprint using a text editor and it seems correct and i can load it into a blank pcb, so i added it correctly to my library path etc. However when i have a schematic and use the filename as the footprint ttribute of a device, gsch2pcb does not connect the dots for some reason. My question is what field in my .fp drives the footprint name? I assume it is in the element field, or the file name, both of which seem to match here. Can anyone confirm what is the driving data? thanks --089e01175f5d04a0d204f902bead Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
I created my first footprint using a text editor and it seems correct an= d i can load it into a blank pcb, so i added it correctly to my library pat= h etc.=C2=A0 However when i have a schematic and use the filename as the fo= otprint ttribute of a device, gsch2pcb does not connect the dots for some r= eason.=C2=A0 My question is what field in my .fp drives the footprint name?= I assume it is in the element field, or the file name, both of which seem = to match here.=C2=A0 Can anyone confirm what is the driving data?
thanks
--089e01175f5d04a0d204f902bead--
