I dont have gschem infront of me right now, but there is a
less-than-obvious button to open and edit the symbol in gschem.  I think
its "edit down" or "modify reference" or something vague.  However if youu
find the folder where the sybol lives, it is a .sym file which gschem will
open and edit.  Look on the wiki for a writeup called something like
"creating new symbols in gschem" and it will tell you how to properly
format the new sym
