The pinseq attribute also determines the order of pin numbers in slotdef attributes. Unfortunately, that tends to conflict with its use in ordering pin connections for simulation. That's one reason I wrote https://github.com/noqsi/gnet-spice-noqsi. It allows you to use several methods for ordering SPICE pin connections, not only pinseq.
