Keith, I use ngspice quite a bit. You have found most of the mouse functions that I have. I use ngspice on both my Mac laptop and on Linux. The mouse functions even work correctly with the Mac trackpad. I have recently found a good source of ngspice examples although they are not explicitly for ngspice. See, "A Simplified Introduction to Circuit Simulation using SPICE OPUS".
