Just tested:

[poh ~/tmp/upython]$ cat test.c 
int main () { return 0; }
[poh ~/tmp/upython]$ djgpp-6.2.0/bin/i586-pc-msdosdjgpp-gcc -Wl,--gc-sections test.c
