Frankly, it's been so long since I've needed to touch that code, that
I've forgotten what's in it.  Once DOS stopped changing (i.e. no new
releases ;) there was little need to change the DOS linker.

It's important to the people who want it to be important.  You don't
need someone else's permission to care about it or work on it, you
just do it.  I started DJGPP because *I* wanted it, and I didn't have
to wait for someone else to decide it was important...
