Thanks for the feedback, but did you actually use DJGPP since that
year?  If not, it's little surprise that you don't need the DJGPP
Emacs, right?

What I'd like to know is whether those who do still develop and use
DJGPP need Emacs, like they need Bash, Grep, Gawk, Perl, and whatnot.
