Juan, you could uncompress them in a Windows DOS/NTVDM console.

Or, you could mount your DOS partition from Linux.  Use
Linux console to uncompress.

Maybe, Andris or DJ could set up a machine to uncompress .bz2
and store (no compression, single file) them as .zip's for you?
