I have no idea. I'm not using networking with DJGPP. But I know some
about networking.

The more complete information, the better. And as it's about watt-32
it's ontopic, I'd say.

But you need somebody else's help right now.

Anyway, as your ping is working, the htget should be working too!
Thus my thinking the two programs must use different ways of
communicating (locally to the network card).

If the other computer is running Linux try tcpdump there. I bet you'll
see your pings arriving while you won't see any http traffic. Or
perhaps you do and get another clue why it's not working.
