IIRC, the versions of DOS before Windows 98 had a command, perhaps HELP,
which displayed information about the internal command.com commands.

The easiest way is to clear the path variable and see if the command still
works:

C:\set path=

C:\copy/?
 (copy information screen appears here...)

C:\xcopy/?
Bad command or file name
