After reading Hans-Bernhard Broeker's post I am
now fully convinced that gcc is allowed to use its
new optimisations, whether I like them or not or
whether performance on my machine improves
or not.

I hereby officially withdraw my suspicions that
gcc might be producing a bug when compiling
the sample code with I have placed at the end of
my previous post.

Therefore I guess there is no more need to
send you the files you've requested. However,
if you still think you'd need them anyway, please
let me know.
