Hello.

I have received noticed that some of you have tried to
join my IRC channel on Freenode server. The reason you
may not have been allowed into #DJGPP is only due to not
having registered with freenode. I appologize for this
inconvience, and will try to fix it.

Meanwhile, this is all that is necessary to register with
Freenode, and it is merely a formality, nothing more.

As I said in my original posts, this is meant to be a serious
channel, and not for spammers or indecent material.

For this reason, my channel was set up to allow serious
IRC users in. However, it is meant for anyone who would
like to join in, even if you do not stay.

#DJGPP on Freenode has now been set to OPEN status!
ANYONE should be able to join. Should you have problems,
however, consult the following hints:

To register with Freenode:

1) Select for yourself a simple to remember password (pswd)

2) then merely type these type lines in

    a) /msg NickServ REGISTER pswd

    b) /msg NickServ IDENTIFY pswd

3) then any time you log into Freenode,
    the only thing need is

     /msg NickServ IDENTIFY pswd

unless you wish to follow the steps on the freenode
websight (which could have saved you time).

4) Freenode's website:

    Registered user name policy:
   http://freenode.net/policy.shtml#usernames

Again, I am sorry for any inconvenience. and ALL are welcomed.
