Same problems here. I have to compile my c/c++ sources at home and
transmit the executables somehow onto my xp box at work.
Also no clue why.
Maybe there's a problem with filenames in capital letters or GCC has a
misbehaviour regarding long filenames. I already tried to set the LFN
environment variable to different values, but it didn't help.

As a workaround you could use Borland C++ 4.5 or Watcom 11.0 or above
like I do. But I also still like compiling under GCC/DJGPP.
