I am after a djgpp c++ type compiler that works on windows xp
cost is not the issue
I was using djgpp from 1989 to 1996 not problems on windows
Last few weeks I needed to start using my old code.
I am not happy with Microsoft c++ because of event handling etc. its too
clumsy and difficult to use.
Now I find djgpp does not work anymore like it used to.
Is it me, being less smart than I used to be 10 years ago.

Is there another compiler I can buy that would work out of the box in a
similar way to djgpp ( before I used borlandc++ v3.0 but found djgpp better)

Why is there not a working version of djgpp out there that simply works with
rhide and all?

Is there something else?

desperate

alex
