apparently.

With all that installed, autoconf still does not function.
(the things you mentioned are now installed, and this
still fails. No reason given.)

Even my original message stated that the file EXISTED,
yet the process just sits and acts like it is looping repeatedly
through something, or is expecting some kind of user-action,
or other undocumented bug.

I will be amazed if anyone can help me get this going; so far,
it is the only thing not working for me that I know about.
