Wrong --- there's quite exactly the same way that there was with all
earlier Windows versions.  The only thing they really removed is that
"MS-DOS Command-line" thing.  It's been replaced by the console
window, which turns into a DOS command line the moment you run the
first external DOS command (e.g. 'mem').

You can run DOS commands from in there exactly the same way you would
have done it on Win2000 or NT, and almost exactly the same way as in
Win9x or 16-bit Windows.  Even Start->Run still works.
