Sorry for my reposting this, but I guess that the original message
didn't get through several news servers due to a JPEG I attached
to it, and I really didn't want to restrict the number of readers.
Thanks!                           -x-x-x-x-x-x-

Hi;

    Everytime I try to use the gcc compiler in a MS-DOS window I get
    the following error message in a message box:

    [Message box caption]
    16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

    [Error message]

    Command Prompt - gcc
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not
    suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications.
    Chose 'Close' to terminate the application.

    I gave the FAQ a look but couldn't find anything related to that. Or
    maybe it escaped me.

    My system is a AMD-64 3300+ running Windows XP. I have the latest
    GCC suite installed.

    Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

---Fausto
