More to the point, I suspect we'll end up reporting this to the GCC
folks as a bug, titled something like "-imacros not collaborating
correctly with -MM".  The semantics of -MM did change after GCC 3.0,
according to the docs, so this could easily be a side effect of that
change which they just didn't notice.
