Why "MS-DOS" ? MS-DOS is dead. Killed by its creator Bill Gates. :D
There is FreeDOS instead (plus some others).

Additionally, if you look on posts here, most people seem to develop
with
Winedowns (mostly XP), not with DOS :-( :-(

What Targets does DJGPP support ? Probably CWSDPMI (I made bad
experiences with
it with Free PASCAL). Some others also ? CWSDPMI is 10 years old, maybe
it was
the only uncommercial DOS ext. 10 years ago. But now, DOS/32A is
availabe.
It seems to be better than CWSDPMI (faster, no SWAP). Further, CWSDPMI
seems to
be higly incompatible with almost all others, which are supposed to be
compatible one with other (DOS4GW, PMODE, CAUSEWAY, DOS/32A). Will
DJGPP support
DOS/32A one day ? Are there some advantages of CWSDPMI against DOS/32A
?
