thank you for your answer. 
yes, it does help to switch to the full-scree-mode. Here everething
works as expected..
but how to check, wich bios call doesn't work? 
maybe, another reason might be the graphics-card? i changed it some
days ago, but it didn't occur to me, that this might be a reason as
well...
i will try to find out...
