Before dec 2001 the DJGPP LIBC was not compatible with 2K/XP. Your
millage with programs created with the old 2.03 LIBC may cary on
2K/XP.

I have DJGPP/Rhide and Allegro working on 2K and now XP, but there are
some catches as follows:-

1) Rhide 1.5.0.1 - starts full screen and occasionally crashes
2) Allegro 4.xx - Not all of the graphics resolutions are available
like on DOS on the same machine.
3) 2.03 LIBC (release 2) does not include all of the fixes done for
2K/XP. 2.04 beta release from the end of 2003 is the latest release.
