Yes, the application programs such as COMPRESS etc., located in \DJGPP\BIN directory give the same error message.

I have used the program previously on Windows 95,98, ME and presently I am running 2000 Version 5.00 on a P3. The DJGPP I use has been downloaded longtime back. It was working fine till May this year(after working fine on Windows 2000 for 3 years). I use a f2c program in conjuction with the gcc compiler. I generate simple fortran programs for image processing. The image libraries are in C. So use f2c along with gcc with the tiff image libraries in C.
