Direct screen writes work fine, but slower than under DOS off-course. Fiddling with VGA registers is indeed dangerous. That's the reason I stay away using RHide under Win-XP. It messes up the SVGA-driver and screen-frequency in a major way so <Alt-Enter> does nothing here. --gv
