For DJGPP only, try using my nmalloc package with the associated
malldbg package.  It won't show free RAM, but it will show the
complete malloc use at any time.  You can take a snapshot
immediately after entering main, and another when you are about to
exit and have hopefully freed everything allocated.  If they
match, you didn't leak.
