xCB is the real-mode RETF instruction I remember of x86 machine code.

Can I easily call that instruction from a loop in DJGPP, to measure
the actual time cost to me of frequently switching between real and
protected mode?  That would accurately simulate what I actually want
to do i.e. call back into Dos 16-bit real-mode .sys drivers to move
bytes.
